Jack's Big Week

It all started last sunday when Jack went into the swimming pool for the first time. He had on his hat and new swim bottoms and was ready to go. We set up the big umbrella on the steps for shade and him and I climbed in. At first he was a little mad because the water was cooler then his usual bath water, but after a couple minutes he was used to it and actually seemed to enjoy it-who knows maybe he will be a great Olympic swimmer (even though Misha is still convinced he will be a pitcher for the Yankees). We only stayed in the water for a few minutes because it was so hot outside, but I am so happy he enjoyed it and we will get in again this weekend. I am gonan have a lil water baby.

Then came monday morning when we had to go to pediatrician for him to get his first set of shots, I was so nervous! The doctor was very fast and Jack definitely screamed but only for a couple minutes. On top of that though, he has started teething so he is constantly chewing on his hands and drooling-this has made him a little fussy at times, but overall he still has the best temperament and best of all he sleeps through the night. He now weighs 14lbs 5oz and is 24 inches long. He is a big boy at the 95th percentile (I am not surprised though). He is happy and healthy and we could not be happier.

This weekend my cousin Megan, her husband and their new baby boy Oliver are coming to town and we are very excited to see the boys together and spend the July 4 weekend as a big family. More pics to come for sure.

Love yall!!
